About Me

Hi! I’m Carlie Baclig— a Public Relations and Digital Marketing Professional with a passion for storytelling, content creation, design, and strategy. I love crafting compelling narratives, building meaningful connections and finding creative ways to engage audiences.

I am from Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi and grew up attending Hawaiian Immersion Schools such as Pūnana Leo o Hilo, Nāwahīokalaniʻōpuʻu, before eventually attending Kamehameha Schools. I later earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo, where I developed my passion for storytelling.

My career journey thus far has allowed me to work in different industries, each shaping my approach to PR and Marketing. I began as a Congressional Intern for Congressman Kai Kahele, where I gained valuable experience in public affairs, government relations, and policy communications. From there, I transitioned into hospitality at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, first as a Concierge at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, where I learned firsthand the power of guest experience and brand reputation, and now as a Public Relations Coordinator at the Four Seasons Hotel Denver. Throughout my current role, I have been given the opportunity to have first-hand experience in both luxury hospitality and brand marketing. I have been managing the social media for the hotel & restaurant accounts, where I regularly oversee digital content, influencer collaborations, and paid media campaigns to enhance brand visibility.

As a creative professional, I thrive in creative environments and bringing ideas to life. I am always looking for new ways to push boundaries, inspire audiences and make a lasting impact through my work.
